Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Base Bugman's Glow 21-18
Base colors are developed for the first, opaque layer of paint on miniatures and offer a high pigment density as well as strong adhesion. Bugman’s Glow is ideal for medium, warm skin tones and is particularly suitable for human skin, faces, hands, as well as other exposed skin areas. The paint covers reliably and forms an even foundation for further layer and shade steps in skin painting.
Base paints can be applied evenly and provide a clean, stable color base on which highlights and shading come into their own. Bugman’s Glow is excellent as a base color for realistic skin representations with a warm, natural color effect.
For optimal results, it is recommended to slightly thin the paint and apply it in one to two even layers. This creates a smooth, opaque base without losing fine details.
