Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Base Hobgrot Hide 21-57
Base paints are designed for the first, opaque color application on miniatures and offer high pigment density as well as strong adhesion. Hobgrot Hide is ideal for yellowish-brown, earthy skin and leather tones and is particularly well suited for Hobgrots, creatures, leather, fabrics, straps, as well as dirty or natural surfaces. The paint provides reliable coverage and creates an even foundation for further layering and shading steps.
Base paints apply evenly and ensure a clean, stable color base on which highlights and shadows can stand out optimally. Hobgrot Hide is excellently suited as a base color for natural skin tones, leather details, or dusty equipment with a realistic character.
For optimal results, it is recommended to slightly thin the paint and apply it in one to two even coats. This creates a smooth, opaque base without losing fine details.
