Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Base Iron Hands Steel 21-46
Base colours are developed for the first, opaque coat of paint on miniatures and offer a high pigment density as well as strong adhesion. Iron Hands Steel is ideal for cool, dark steel tones and is particularly well suited for armour, weapons, machines, vehicles as well as industrial or mechanical colour schemes. The paint covers reliably and forms an even foundation for further layering and shading steps.
Base paints can be applied evenly and ensure a clean, stable colour base on which metallic highlights and shading can be shown to their best advantage. Iron Hands Steel is excellently suited as a base colour for realistic steel surfaces, technical details or grim metallic looks.
For optimal results, it is recommended to thin the paint slightly and apply it in one to two even coats. This creates a smooth, opaque base without losing fine details.
