Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Base Khorne Red 21-04
Base colors are developed for the first, opaque layer of paint on miniatures and offer a high pigment density as well as strong adhesion. Khorne Red is ideal for deep, dark red tones and is particularly suitable for armor, fabrics, banners, vehicles, as well as aggressive or dark color schemes. The paint covers reliably and forms an even foundation for further layer and shade steps.
Base paints can be applied evenly and provide a clean, stable color base on which highlights and shading come into their own. Khorne Red is excellent as a base color for strong red areas, Chaos models, or high-contrast designs.
For optimal results, it is recommended to slightly thin the paint and apply it in one to two even layers. This creates a smooth, opaque base without losing fine details.
