Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Base Nocturne Green 21-43
Base paints are developed for the first, opaque coat on miniatures and offer a high pigment density as well as strong adhesion. Nocturne Green is ideally suited for very dark, cool green and teal tones and is particularly well suited for armor, vehicles, fabrics, as well as gloomy, nocturnal, or chapter-specific color schemes. The paint covers reliably and forms an even foundation for further layering and shading steps.
Base paints can be applied evenly and provide a clean, stable color base on which highlights and shadows can stand out optimally. Nocturne Green is excellent as a base color for deep shadows, high-contrast green areas, or mysterious designs with a cool character.
For optimal results, it is recommended to slightly thin the paint and apply it in one to two even coats. This creates a smooth, opaque base without losing fine details.
