Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Base Screaming Bell 21-30
Base paints are developed for the first, opaque colour application on miniatures and offer a high pigment density as well as strong adhesion. Screaming Bell is ideally suited for dark, warm copper and red-copper tones and is particularly well suited for armour, weapons, machines, decorative details, as well as industrial or chaotic metallic surfaces. The paint provides reliable coverage and forms an even foundation for further layering and shading steps.
Base paints can be applied evenly and ensure a clean, stable colour base on which metallic highlights and shadows come into their own optimally. Screaming Bell is excellently suited as a base colour for deep copper surfaces with a rich, metallic character.
For optimal results, it is recommended to thin the paint slightly and apply it in one to two even coats. This creates a smooth, opaque base without losing fine details.
