Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Base Steel Legion Drab 21-17
Base paints are developed for the first, opaque colour application on miniatures and offer a high pigment density as well as strong adhesion. Steel Legion Drab is ideally suited for matte, earthy brown and khaki tones and is particularly well suited for uniforms, armour, vehicles, leather, fabrics as well as realistic and military colour schemes. The paint provides reliable coverage and forms an even foundation for further layering and shading steps.
Base paints can be applied evenly and ensure a clean, stable colour base on which highlights and shadows come into their own optimally. Steel Legion Drab is excellently suited as a base colour for desert, camouflage and battle colour schemes or natural, dusty surfaces.
For optimal results, it is recommended to thin the paint slightly and apply it in one to two even coats. This creates a smooth, opaque base without losing fine details.
