Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Contrast Baal Red 29-67
Contrast colours combine the flow properties of a Shade paint with the colour density and adhesion of a Layer paint. With these paints, various areas of a miniature can be painted effortlessly to achieve strong contrasts and vibrant effects. Baal Red is ideal for bright, vivid red tones and is particularly well suited for armour, fabrics, banners, energy effects, as well as dynamic or chapter-specific colour schemes.
Contrast Paints function as basecoat and shading in one step. The paint settles in recesses and automatically creates natural, warm shadows, while raised areas remain bright. Baal Red provides an intense, clear red with strong contrast.
For optimal results, we recommend light base colours and the use of the primers Wraithbone, White Scar or Grey Seer to fully utilise the excellent flow and contrast properties of Contrast Paints.
