Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Contrast Doomfire Magenta 29-66
Contrast colours combine the flow properties of a Shade paint with the colour density and adhesion of a Layer paint. With these paints, various areas of a miniature can be painted effortlessly to achieve strong contrasts and intense effects. Doomfire Magenta is ideal for bold, vibrant magenta and pink tones and is particularly well suited for energy effects, fabrics, armour, demons, as well as striking or chaotic colour schemes.
Contrast Paints function as basecoat and shading in one step. The paint settles in recesses and automatically creates deep, vivid shadows, while raised areas remain lighter. Doomfire Magenta provides an intense, bright magenta with strong contrast.
For optimal results, we recommend light base colours and the use of the primers Wraithbone, White Scar or Grey Seer to fully utilise the excellent flow and contrast properties of Contrast Paints.
