Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Contrast Magos Purple 29-16
Contrast paints combine the high flow of a Shade paint with the intense colour density and adhesion of a Layer paint, allowing miniatures to be painted quickly and efficiently with a single coat. Magos Purple is ideal for light to mid purple and lilac tones and is particularly well suited for skin, fabrics, organic surfaces, demons, monsters, as well as subtle magical or mutated effects. The paint creates soft, natural shading and instantly adds depth to models without appearing too dark.
Contrast paints function as both base colour and shade, automatically enhancing details and significantly simplifying the painting process. When applied over metallic paints, Magos Purple alters the colour tone without obscuring the metallic finish, making it suitable for lightly enchanted or decorated equipment.
For best results, light primers are recommended. Wraithbone, White Scar, and Grey Seer are especially suitable, as they optimally support the transparency and excellent flow properties of Contrast paints.
