Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Technical Astrogranite 27-30
Technical paints are developed for special effects and textures on miniatures and bases. Astrogranite is ideal for representing rough, stony, and rock-like surfaces. The paint contains fine texture particles and creates a realistic granite and rubble effect when applied, which is particularly well suited for bases, terrain, or ruined environments.
Technical paints are applied directly from the pot and allow convincing texture effects without additional materials. Astrogranite can be applied thinly for fine grain or thicker for stronger texture and works excellently with drybrushing techniques or washes to enhance depth and contrast.
For optimal results, it is recommended to apply the paint evenly and allow it to dry completely. After drying, additional highlights can be added to further emphasize the texture.
