Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Technical Contrast Medium 27-33
Technical paints and mediums are specially designed to modify and adjust other Citadel paints. Contrast Medium is ideal for thinning Contrast paints, reducing their intensity, and creating smoother transitions and more controlled effects without losing the unique flow properties of Contrast paints. The medium does not change the colour, only the opacity and contrast.
Contrast Medium allows Contrast paints to become more transparent and easier to control, which is especially useful for lighter areas, subtle shading, or layered effects. It is perfect for mixing custom colour gradients or deliberately softening the effect of a Contrast paint.
For best results, mix Contrast Medium directly with the desired Contrast paint. Depending on the ratio, effects can range from subtle to very light, while maintaining the typical flow characteristics.
