Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Technical Martian Ironcrust 27-25
Technical paints are developed for special effects and textures on miniatures and bases. Martian Ironcrust is ideal for representing cracked, broken earth and mud surfaces with a strong Martian character. The paint dries unevenly and automatically creates realistic cracks, which are particularly well suited for bases, terrain, or heavily weathered surfaces.
Technical paints are usually applied directly from the pot and allow impressive effects without elaborate additional techniques. Martian Ironcrust can be applied thickly for strong cracking or thinner for finer textures and works excellently in combination with other Martian colours or drybrushing techniques.
For optimal results, it is recommended to apply the paint generously and allow it to dry completely. After drying, additional highlights or pigments can be used to further enhance the effect.
