Warhammer - Citadel Colour: Technical Nihilakh Oxide 27-06
Technical paints are specially designed to create realistic aging and weathering effects on miniatures. Nihilakh Oxide is ideal for greenish turquoise oxidation and patina effects on copper, bronze, and other metal surfaces. The paint is particularly well suited for armour, weapons, machinery, statues, as well as ancient or decayed constructs. It produces an authentic verdigris effect and instantly gives models an aged appearance.
Technical paints are applied selectively in recesses, along edges, or on chosen areas to create realistic corrosion and oxidation marks. Nihilakh Oxide can be easily spread or removed to precisely control the effect and make it look natural.
For best results, it is recommended to apply over metallic Base paints such as copper or bronze. By varying the amount applied, subtle to pronounced aging effects can be achieved.
